HOW TO USE A SHAVING BRUSH:
Make sure your face is clean – shaving after a warm shower is great as the skin will be clean and the pores open, allowing an easier shave.
Wet the shaving brush with warm water, shaking off any excess.
Apply your shaving cream/gel/soap on the top of the brush
Using circular motions, lather the cream onto your face with the brush.

You should invest in a shaving brush stand so that the brush can be stored with the bristles facing down. This way water drops down off the brush, and not into the brush and onto the brush handle.
Allow the brush to air dry completely between uses by placing it on the counter, ideally in a brush stand. Storing a damp brush—such as in a drawer—can trap moisture in the bristles, creating an environment for bacterial growth and increasing the risk of skin irritation.
